The 23-bar introduction has a vocal line on top with text in Italian. After this intro, the piano continues with a solo sonata in 3 movements (Allegro, Andante piu tosto Adagio, Finale alla Polacca), in which the last 4 bars of the Finale have words again. It is probably possible to perform the sonata on its own without the vocal intro, and finishing the Finale without the voice.
