This is actually Johann Rosenmüller's "Treiffet ihr Himmel von oben" (Kern=Sprüche I) published in 1648; Krieger performed lots of music by Rosenmüller in Weißenfels, and it is possible that the editors of DDT mistook it as one of Krieger's own works. 1696 is more likely to have been the year in which the piece was performed there. The instrumental parts are NOT originally for oboes!
