Skala, Wolfgang, born 1984 in Schärding (Upper Austria), is a staff scientist in computational systems biology at the University of Salzburg and the continuo player of the Cantorey der Kirche der Barmherzigen Brüder Schärding. Since 2016, he has been publishing urtext editions of (mainly) 18th century sacral music via the Edition Esser-Skala (https://edition.esser-skala.at) and IMSLP.
