Hallo! Here you are Viotti's opus numbers for all about duos. I could not find (and see) the original catalog I deduced all from this article: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_Battista_Viotti
By the way, the Chappell White catalogue numbers (W) try to list all Viotti's works but I don't know if it's so and it's enought authoritative.Usually we call viotti concert No.22 Op.XX Or 3rd duos of 1 Livre etc...
SOLUTION:
>Peters books 4-5 = 1°Livre de Duos = WIV 1-6 (keys : Es,B,E,D,C,A) (1789 ca.)
>Ricordi 6 Duos op.20 = 2° Livre de Duos = WIV 7-12 (keys: B,C,G,D,a,D) (1789-1790 ca.)
>6 Duos Faciles 3° Livre de Duos = WIV 13-18 (C,G,D,F,c,B) These are not on imslp
>Peters books 6&11 = 6 Duos livre 5 (to Chinnery) = WIV 19-24 (keys: A,e,B,F,C,E)(1797-1798 ca.)
>Peters book 8 = 3 Duos Op.18 = WIV 25-27 (keys : C,A,F)
>Peters book 3 = 3 Duos "a l'Amitiè" = WIV 28-30 (keys B,g,E) (1803 ca.)
>Peters books 12&13 = Serenades Op.23 = WIV 31-36 (keys A,D,G,Es,G,A) (1804 Ca.)
>Peters book 9 = WIV 3,2,1 (keys :A,d,D)
>Peters books 1&7 = Ricordi Op.29(only 3 duos) = WIVa 4-9 (keys D,A,c,a,G,E) It's told they are an arrangement of WIV 37-42 for 2 cellos, but it could be the opposite.
>Peters book 10 = 3 Duos Op.19 = WIVa 10-12 (keys b,c,Es) Originally string quartets WII 16-18
>3 Concertant Duos Op.20 = WIVa 13-15 (keys A,E,G) Originally for 2 vl and cello WIII 13-15 These are not on imslp
>3 Gran concertant duos Op.21 WIVa 16-18 (keys b(or h?),D,B) Originally for 2 vl and cello WIII 16-18 These are not on imslp
>3 Grand concertant duos op.22 WIV 19-21 (keys B,a,E) Originally for 2 vl and cello WIII 19-21
These are not on imslp

Yes I´m finished with K.20. However I´ll be happy if someone could take away the parts, BUT KEEP THE SCORE, since I have been told by friend, who is the master of the music in a parish here in Stockholm, that the chorists read directly from the score.
Best regars

I'm not sure where to put this comment, but at any rate I submitted another piece today. (Prelude No. 6 for Piano by Hedien, Mark). I am the composer, and it's fine to list it either as public domain or Creative Commons. (I notice you usually switch it to Creative Commons, which is certainly OK.)
Once again, thank you very much for your help in adding my little pieces. I'll probably also be submitting a Woodwind Quartet in the next few days, with the parts.
IMSLP is really one of the great contributions to the internet (and world culture for that matter).
--Mark Hedien
I just uploaded a Woodwind Quartet. I immediately had to edit the title (I had entered "Woowind.") Sorry about that. I also uploaded all of the parts.
As before, I am the composer of that work, and it's OK to list them as public domain or Creative Commons.
Thanks again. I'll leave you alone for a little while. I do work close to a major University library, so maybe I'll check and see if there's something in there that I can add to the archive (that isn't already there). I assume that if I can find anything pre-1923, it would be OK.

Hi Carolus,
I'm hoping to help out with some of IMSLP's projects and I wondered what the current protocol is for becoming a copyright reviewer. Do I still take the 3-page test, or have things changed? Physicist 13:30, 17 May 2009 (EDT)
Dear Carolus,
Good Afternoon. The Chopin piece I uploaded several days ago is downloaded from a French website. And I cannot understand French.Yesterday,I found that the website had been translated into English. And on the top of the website,it writes the scores on it all are from public domain. So I uploaded the Chopin piece again.I think I can share it with others this time.
I hope the sentences I write have no grammar mistakes. Thanks, Cjl914214:05, 21 May 2009(EDT)
The website is [1].I have made a mistake that the national flag looks like French, but I don't know which country it really belongs to.I hope what I understand of the sentences write on the freescores.com is right.Cjl914214:20,21 May 2009(EDT)
Thanks for your checking. And shall I link the page to List of compositions by Frédéric Chopin? But excuse me,I don't know what is C/C/C? I'll take care of avoiding this next time. Thanks again,Cjl914219:05,22 May 2009(EDT)
Hi, I saw that you're an admin here and wanted to quickly ask how long captcha stays on a new user's account. I'm interested in helping out here and there, but less so if I have to put up with a captcha on every edit. If you could let know I'd appreciate it—thanks! --Spangineer 21:41, 22 May 2009 (EDT)
Sorry to bother you once again, but I apparrently mis-spelled the title of my work. I have edited the title where possible, but it still shows up as "Woowind Quartet" on the main page. Is there any way to fix this? I know it's a minor issue, but if you have time, it would be nice to have it spelled right.
Thanks yet again.

Thanks very much.
Hello Carolus,
There is a small error in the Bach's [Magnificat]
Indeed, the page 31 has nothing to do with the Magnificat! It is part of an Aria of the Bach's Cantata BWV 201.
Could you scan the real page 31 of the Magnificat? (Omnes generationes)
Thank you very much!

Hello! My Name is Josef Friedrich! I'm the owner of the rights of the works of August Högn. Please see here: http://august-hoegn.woidwideweb.de/impressum/index.php or http://august-hoegn.woidwideweb.de/impressum/einverstaendniserklaerung_gross.gif . Its in German. But if you want it, I can translate if. z. B. Einverstädniserklärung = Declaration of agreement; Nutzungsrecht = Right of Usage
Is it possible to cancel the deletion? I want to publish the works of August Högn under CC. Thank you very much.

Is it that hard for you to go to the website and check it out for yourself if the music is in free distrubution? I mean all I try to do is help this good cause and I get yelled at something that is legal but you will not know for sure because you seem to lazy to go look it up. I uploaded another typeset from clariperu.org which is still here and not deleted. The reason why it was not deleted is because the copywrite reviewer took the time to go on the website and checked it out for him/herself. You say I am wasting your time but really it is you who is preventing this wonderful cause for becoming fufilled. Please show some gratitude.

Just a quick thanks for the insane amount of page cleanup that you've been doing lately. Keep up the good work! With any good luck, we'll soon find a fourth user who deserves the cleanup star!-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 21:19, 6 June 2009 (EDT)
Hi Carolus,
in relation to the recently created Sicong Ma, Dohnanyi, etc. pages I just wanted to know your opinion and how we handle this in future. To be honest I don't want to have those pages on IMSLP because it doesn't make sense to have empty categories of composers here who won't enter PD in near future and it's against our policy (of deletion of empty pages). Users might be tempted to upload scores (even with a warning not to do so). On the wishlists many non PD composers have already red / bold warnings "no posting ....". As you said it's ok to allow it some months before the composer enters PD, this should be the maximum allowed. For the rest I would prefer immediate deletion. Well, if the others here want to keep such pages I'll accept it, of course! It's just that we need a common rule. Regards, Hobbypianist 15:32, 9 June 2009 (EDT)
Hi Carolus, I think it's a mistake, I didn't put the link for the recordings ! hehe - I have only changed the french spelling "Amadé" instead of "Amadè" - but anyway thanks for letting me know that we can put directly the link on the work page I hadn't noticed that ! And I especially wanted to thank you for the Sleeping Beauty full score and piano score !! It is so wonderful !! Thanks again, Bryan P. C. C.
Hello and thank you for the link for Danish Library uploads!
I like to dig through their collection every so often and upload something that catches my eye - unfortunately I have had less and less time recently so it is always good to see others getting involved. I notice that after I uploaded a couple of things from the Danish Library last night, another user came along and uploaded a few more. (stuff that I would not have attempted, as my knowledge of Danish is rather inadequate to have a stab at making a meaningful work page with a reasonable amount of background information.)
As for the Bach cantatas...I have been listening to some nice recordings of "sacred cantatas for alto", and putting together a little collection of things to pretend to sing along to when I'm in the car with the windows firmly wound up. (Not even in the shower...I don't want my husband and our housemate to be emotionally scarred for life. The only thing I share in common with Susan Boyle is definitely my looks! the only time I can be coaxed to sing in the presence of other people is safely tucked away in the church choir, surrounded by other altos on all sides.)

Thanks for the tips. I wasn't aware of the title for the entire opus (not listed that way at Sibley).--Mattheson78 10:44, 18 June 2009 (EDT)
Hi Carolus, the first and second violin part in the 6th concerto mov. 2, 3, 4, is identical - greatings -- Frinck 04:40, 20 June 2009 (EDT)
I added another piece to this page -- A Woodwind Trio. I am the composer and, from my perspective, public domain would be fine. I know it is your policy to list them as Creative Commons, so feel free to change the piece to that if you like. I did try to upload the files using the Creative Commons license, but they were not added to the page. If I am doing something wrong here, please let me know, as I understand you must put in a lot of time on these projects. Thanks again!

Thank you very much for your correction on article "Harmonice Musices Odhecaton (Petrucci, Ottaviano)" It is the first time I am uploading, I did not know the correct manner to do it.
Hey, I was adding the Mendelssohn/Moscheles Duo concertant (on a theme from Weber's Preciosa) from the Sibley project. Should this be entered under one composer, or both?--Mattheson78 22:52, 21 June 2009 (EDT)
Hello Carolus,
according to several sources Editha Grace Knocker died in 1950 (19.9.1950). The preface written by Alec Hyatt King (1911-1994) has to be removed, of course, but the rest should be ok. Hobbypianist 15:41, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Hi Carolus, I have translated the main page in to TRADITIONAL chinese. It is the page 首頁. (The current chinese version is SIMPLIFIED). Please add this into language list. This language is called 繁體中文. Regards,Notnd17:55, 27 June 2009 (EDT)
It is very likely (almost without a doubt) that Rossini wrote the piece for clarinet in c. His more popular Introduction, Theme, and Variations which is in E-flat major was still originally written for c clarinet even though the key signature would have been easier to play if it were composed for b-flat. I have noticed that some pages are missing from the back and I am pretty sure the typeset was made by Oliver Seely.
Was "angeloflight" intended on your most recent upload, Carolus Magnus? I like it if it was. If it wasn't....-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 22:05, 2 July 2009 (EDT)
