Extra Information | any orchestral version was never written. The libretto published in 1913 includes some fragments of the score. The full version of this work was not published during the lifetime of the composer. Mariya Ender (1897-1942), who was a pupil of Mikhail Matyushin, made a handwritten transcription of the original manuscript of this work. However, this version is still not the complete version of this opera. Now the original manuscript is believed to be lost. The handwritten edition by Mariya Ender was published in 1983, in the catalogue for the exhibition held at the Academy of Arts during the Berliner Festwochen in 1983. |
