The 2nd violin sonata is a modern-classical composition, but not really modern (i.e. neo-romantic). It consists of three movements. The 1st movement is in moderately fast, passionate and in sonata-form, the 2nd movement is a slow, singing and melancholic cantilena based on one theme, the 3rd and final movement is fast and joyous and in rondo-form, with a gipsy middle section. Digital performance made in Sibelius 6 with Garritan Personal Orchestra. Videos with the moving score and play along videos are on my YouTube-channel.
