This piece is an attempt to write in Beethovens style from e.g. his famous Spring Sonata
|
Navigation etc.
This sonata is a pasticcio with strong influences from Beethoven. The author intended to write a violin sonata which corresponds to Beethoven's Violin Sonata in F major Op.24, the "Spring Sonata'. Therefore the same key and the same number of movements were chosen. Since the author's work was completed on 4th November, this sonata carries the name 'Herbstsonate' (Autumn Sonata).
