This collection is termed "open" because the number of songs, some of which I composed at an early stage, is as of yet uncertain. Each song is appointed with
a cursory comment. *The phrase "poetic moments" is employed, meaning that those literary stimuli (poems) that are not PD have been blanked pending further treatment.
The melodic lines that were prompted by the initial verses are retained.
The "further treatment" has consisted in reshuffling my collection of songs, only those with free to use (or my own) lyrics are now put in the first volume. The others
will have to wait until I devise new texts of my own making or by XIX century poets. A pity, but there it is.
