Edited from ms Segovia cathedral; all pieces with critical notes; no text survived. Identification of Roelkin (=Little Rudolph) as the humanist Rudolf Agricola is something between possible and probable, but there is no other composer with the same Christian name; see also critical notes.

Fighting a lonely battle on that one. Anyone else in the scholarly community agree with you, or is this just your argument? If you're just going by agreement of names, I'm removing it from the composer page until a much better argument comes along (admittedly, can't even -see- the critical notes from here; if they change my mind or someone else's, can always revert. But it seems a thin reed on which to rest the hand.) - ES

Grove Music says that the Franco-Flemish composer Raulin "may be the same as the ‘Roelkin’ (often misread as ‘Roellrin’) to whom three works are ascribed in the Segovia manuscript". However, Grove also cites Bonda as believing that Raulin was Agricola. Just to confuse things further . . .

Interesting! (And I do realize how difficult it is to obtain certainty (or anything close) even with Baroque or even Classical-period attribution (I don't need to be reminded of certain odd Mozart-related cases e.g.) - or even more recently still- leave alone further in the past.) (And apologies for my tone above besides. (Also, maybe I should have checked DIAMM. DIAMM entry for Raulin by the way (gives further alias Ranlequin de Mol, and 7 source links...)) (Side: If this is from the Cancionero de Segovia it could I suspect be tagged as canciones or something similar, I'm sure even though not the "composer's title" as close as we are going to get...) - ES
