English actor. Arrived in US in 1853. Lee & Walker of Philadelphia in the early 1870s published several songs with no composer information except the indication that one may have been arranged or composed by Fawcett, but in a series entitled "Owen Fawcett’s Songs!" - "as sung by the popular comedian Owen Fawcett".
