According to Michael Hurd's 1993 biography of Rutland Boughton (p.113): "Philip Napier Miles, of King's Weston, Bristol (a wealthy amateur composer whose music... had already figured in the festivals)"... (and who also "secured the lease on a large house" for a new school building for the Glastonbury Festival School.)
