Born in Paris to English parents in 1880 or 1881. He is mentioned as a Twickenham (near London) based pianist in the Musical News, May 6, 1899, page 465. an associate of the Royal College of Music in London in 1901. Theodore Tanner was with the Choir from 1908 until his death in 1948.
