  • This is almost certainly under the wrong composer and title. Audinot was an actor and author, not a composer. The Danish collection this comes from says "Af Bødkeren", meaning "from Bødkeren". "Bødkeren" is the translation of "Le Tonnelier", an opera-comique for which Audinot wrote the libretto (in French). But the music was by François-Joseph Gossec, François-André Danican Philidor and Jean-Claude Trial, not Audinot. IMSLP does not currently have any of the music from this opera, so it is impossible to say which composer wrote the music to this specific aria. Eventually, if the composer can be identified, it needs to be under that person's name, or, ideally, if we get the full opera-comique, it should be on the page for the full work.
  • The individual song is published in Danmarks Melodibog (Kjøbenhavn ; Leipzig: Wilhelm Hansen), in 2 books, though it is unknown whether that was the first publication.
