No.13 creates a 4-staff piano sound with much use of pedals (and quasi arpa and quasi organo sound) but despite surface appearances the accompaniment (though difficult?) is for one player at one piano, accompanying unison chorus ad libitum (sacred chorus).

Possibly revised in 1879 (LoC has a 1877 edition with all 13 songs, and separate issues copyright 1879 individually of most of the first 12 - haven't compared the musical content yet to see if there are any differences in the individual songs between 1877 and 1879. If so, will upload both as possible.)
