Extra Information A music hall song regards the woes of the river, with the pains of sea sickness being the motto of the number. As a sufferer of very bad motion sickness myself, the song is quite funny! Sung initially by the Great Vance, however it got fame as a humorous drawing room number during the latter part of the Victorian and Edwardian era. This conversion was pretty popular with Georgian popular and early music hall songs.
