Extra Information | The 2nd movement in G major is sometimes published separately, and titled Nocturne, with varying numeric designations: either No.12, 13, or 14. Regarding the first editions: Also published at least in part by Meissonnier in the same year. The title page from the B&H FE states "ou avec Quatuor, ou pour Piano seul", but it is unclear whether these are arrangements, although Grove Music lists other concertos' solo piano versions as arrangements. Presumably then, the quartet accompaniment version would also be considered an arrangement. |
