Revista da Semana was a weekly Brazilian magazine published on sundays between 1900-1959 in Rio de Janeiro, distributed for the whole country. The periodical was conceived by Álvaro de Tefé as an "illustrated magazine" [revista ilustrada].
The first edition was published on 20th March 1900. Some weeks later, started to publish music scores. It published mostly piano music, aiming an amateur public.
