At least eight* commercial recordings (counting LPs and CDs), including one by the Beethoven Quartet (Kvartet imeni Bethovena) which premiered the work and to which it was dedicated, alongside Glière's 4th quartet.*

The original recording with the Beethoven Quartet, the more recent recording with the Taneev Quartet (on LP, reissued several times), digital recordings by the Borodin Quartet (recorded in 2009), Kopelman Quartet, Quartet Renoir, Pacifica Quartet, Gostelradio Quartet, and New Philharmonic Quartet.
