Piece is described as having songs by Sullivan with incidental music composed and adapted by James F Simpson. The song "The Marquis de Mincepie" and the Finale were published separately under Sullivan's name. The Serenade, Trio and Duet also appear to be by Sullivan. The overture is based on "The Marquis de Mincepie" so could be by Sullivan or could have been arranged by Simpson. The recitatives and melodramas are presumably by Simpson.
